days later; still unbelievably smitten

If regular, for-your-heart Cheerios don’t count as cereal, then I totally made it seven days without the good stuff. Totally.

  1. Being encouraged to buy that stuffed Valentine hedgehog from Pier 1 and not regretting it for one second.
  2. Getting pumped for the AFC Championships after knocking out Houston! Had me nervous for a hot minute, there.
  3. Sort of reliving our first date, 365 days later, wandering around the same neighborhood searching for a place to go because our first choice was unavailable. Wouldn’t have traded those few hundred days with you for anything.
  4. Finally getting my Saint Glasses and earrings, after a month of waiting!!!!!
  5. As dumb as it sounds, running consistently strong for two weeks. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve been able to trust my legs, and my mental strength, to keep focused on the same goal: getting better.

xx
