“Anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.” – JK Rowling
Whenever I talk to my sister Stefanie, I am constantly reminded what a blessing she is in my life. At such a young age she has gone through more obstacles and accomplished feats that are so far removed from the consciousness of most 22-year-olds, that it has left her with a sense of wisdom and optimism I can only hope to achieve in this lifetime. Leaving a conversation with her always leaves me refreshed and feeling inspired, motivated, and driven. Her curiosity to see and know the world spills out in her words, and somehow, makes you crave for this yearning to learn just as strongly. This blog is entirely dedicated to you sis. Thanks for pushing me to go out and satiate my appetite to find solidarity with strangers and make a difference in the world.

“Youth cannot know how age thinks and feels. But old men are guilty if they forget what it was to be young.” -JK Rowling
They say you can count the number of true best friends you have in a lifetime on one hand. My Uncle Stephen was without a doubt one of my dad’s closest confidants. Those who knew him knew that his mantra to live life to the fullest – and if that meant playing hooky on a Friday to go play golf and throw back a couple of brewskis, then so be it. He was taken from us this summer when his heart gave out; the irony being that his heart was much too big and much too strong for any of us to process. Even in passing, he reminds me to live life to the fullest, to take chances, and to do what I want to do, whenever it is I want to do it. Rest in peace, Chu Hung – I’m doing my best to live forever young.
